Designed to offer a firm, yet comfortable support, the Lockwood mattress consists of body-contouring pocket springs, white fibre fillings and a durable damask cover.
The mattress features a traditional hand tufted finish; a process where nylon tapes are passed through it at regular intervals and attached on each side with a cotton tuft.
The mattress core consists of an interior made up of small diameter pocket springs with each coil housed in its own cloth sleeve and free of surrounding springs.
The springs are able to move freely so the load on one is not affected by any neighbouring springs, providing piston-like support to each part of your body.
A flat rod-edge metal frame is fitted to the perimeter to ensure the integrity of the nested pocket springs and allow you the full use of the mattress width.
The mattress is designed to be dual-sided and requires to be flipped over and rotated from head to toe on a regular basis for enhanced comfort and support.
