Upholstered in a premium 100% Viscose fabric, the mattress benefits from a hand tufted finish; a process that ensures the fillings stay firmly in place.
Natural fillings such as wool, cotton, cashmere and silk have the ability to regulate body temperatures throughout the winter and summer months.
Sandwiched between these deep natural layers is an interior made up of 1000 central pocket springs, with 4000 mini comfort tablet springs on both sides.
Small in diameter compared to standard open coils, pocket springs are housed in their own cloth sleeves and totally independent of any surrounding springs.
This flexibility means the load on one spring is not affected by any neighbouring springs, resulting in piston-like support to each part of your body.
Reserved for premium mattresses, an added feature is side-stitching; a labour intensive and intricate technique that takes many years for craftsmen to master.
The side-stitching process involves the outer rows of springs being sewn to the mattress border by using high-tension twine and a long upholstery needle.
This process strengthens the mattress border and prevents it from bowing out over the years. It also offers edge-to-edge support across its width.
