Designed to offer the optimum support and comfort, the Tranquillity mattress combines body responsive pocket springs and natural fillings.
Upholstered in a 100% Viscose fabric, it features 8kg per square metre of fillings; 4 times the amount found in other pocket sprung models.
Natural fillings such as wool, cotton, cashmere and silk have the ability to regulate temperatures by drawing moisture away from the body.
Supplied by Argo, Europe’s biggest spring manufacturer, the interior is made up of a pocket spring core with layers of mini tablet springs on both sides.
Designed to instantly compress when pressure is applied, the tablet springs offer the feeling of weightlessness and also reduce upholstery settlement.
The combination of tablet springs and body-contouring pocket springs offer piston-like support to the shoulder, hips and lower back area.
An added feature is its side-stitched border – a process that sews the border to the outer springs by way of a long upholstery needle and high-tension twine.
This strengthens the perimeter and offers edge-to-edge support across the mattress width, increasing its sleeping surface by 20%.
The 5 way hinged mechanism offers unique customised support to all parts of the body, relieving aches and pains and improving circulation and posture.
In addition, the slatted frame is fitted with lumber adjusters in the lower back section, allowing you to increase or decrease the firmness in that area.
