The Buckingham mattress is upholstered in a distinctive striped damask cover and features an interior made up of body-responsive pocket springs and layers of hypo-allergenic fillings.
To ensure the fillings are held in place, a hand tufted process is applied to the mattress.
Tapes are passed through it at regular intervals and secured on each side with a cotton tuft.
The foundation of the mattress consists of a supportive sleep system made up of totally independent pocket springs housed within their own flexible cloth sleeve.
Piston-like support is provided to all parts of the sleeper’s body as each pocket spring can move freely, so the load on one spring is not affected by any neighbouring springs.
A flat rod-edge metal frame is fitted to the perimeter of the spring unit to ensure the integrity of the nested pocket springs and allow you the full use of the mattress width.
Designed to be dual-sided, It should be rotated from head to toe and flipped over on a regular basis.
This will even out any wear and tear the mattress receives and enhance its lifespan.
