The mattress is manufactured to strict Crib 5 BS7177 fire ignition regulations that require a higher level of specifications than domestic used mattresses.
Although designed for use in commercial establishments, Crib 5 mattresses are widely used in family homes, thanks to their strict fire regularity standards.
Hypo-allergenic white fibre fillings make up the layers, while the core of the mattress features a robust interior of traditional open coil springs.
Open coil springs are set out in rows running from head to toe and formed into one unit by attaching helical wires at the top and bottom.
To offer edge-to-edge support and allow you the full use of the mattress width, a thick rod-edge wire is attached to the perimeter springs.
