By combining 150mm of reflex foam, 50mm of Gel-Flex cooling foam and a soft to touch stretch knit fabric, the mattress is designed to offer a firmer support.
Set below the outer cover is a deep layer of Gel-Flex cooling foam; a temperature regulating and pressure relieving material designed to offer a cooler night’s sleep.
Its reflex foam foundation has a high level of antimicrobial and dust mite resistance and has the ability to contour your body shape, eliminating pressure points.
It does this by displacing the air bubbles within the foam sideways when your body applies pressure and returns to its original shape when the pressure is removed.
As the Gel Ortho is a one-side mattress, there’s no need for it to be flipped over, but we do recommend that you rotate it from head to toe on a regular basis.
A low voltage handset controls the 5-way hinged mechanism, allowing each end to move together or separately to a point of comfort or handy sitting position.
To enhance the support in the lower back area, the slatted frame is fitted with lumber adjusters. This allows you to increase or decrease the firmness.
