The pocket spring responds independently following the lines of your body to provide correct spinal alignment and postural support. The springs on the outer edge are of a firmer tension to prevent ‘roll off’ and allow you to use the whole sleep surface. The pillowtop further enhances the postural support with a layer of mini springs. Natural fillings include 100% Mountain Bred British Wool, 100% Valley Based British Wool, both offer soft insulation and increased comfort. A Wool, Pashmina and Alpaca Layer adds durability, loft and support. A Belgian Damask covers the mattress and adds to the softness, durability, breathability and is fire retardant. Finished with wool tufts to improve longevity and four rows of hand-sewn side stitching the Silk 2850 is single-sided, therefore no need to turn over. The firm edge sprung divan is a high-quality timber frame, sourced from sustainable forests. The frame surrounds an open coil spring system that softens the feel of the mattress and gives extra support and comfort to you.
