The mattress benefits form a traditional hand tufted finish that’s applied by passing nylon tapes through it at regular intervals and securing them on both sides with woollen tufts.
Upholstered in a damask fabric, the mattress boasts British wool and sustainable fresh white fibres, resulting in a super supportive and supremely comfortable sleeping surface.
The core of the mattress is made up of rows of small diameter pocket spring coils with each one housed in its own cloth sleeve and totally free of any surrounding springs.
The pocket springs are able to move freely so the load on one is not affected by any neighbouring springs, providing piston-like support to each part of your body.
A flat rod-edge metal frame is fitted around the perimeter rows of springs to ensure the integrity of the nested pocket springs and allow you the full use of the mattress width.
Designed to be an easy-care mattress, its one-sided design does not need to be flipped over, but to enhance its lifespan, we recommend you rotate it regularly.
