Manufactured in the UK, the Shire Ortho Quilted mattress is an ideal solution for those who prefer a medium and supportive sleeping surface.
Boasting a luxurious Egyptian white cotton fabric with a deep quilted finish, the mattress features layers of hypo-allergenic white fibre fillings.
The interior of the mattress is made up of a robust 12.5-gauge open coil spring system, one of the firmest springs used in mattress manufacturing.
It’s a hard-wearing system made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs connected at the top and bottom by spiral wires, known as helical wires.
A thick rod-edge wire is attached to the perimeter springs. This strengthens the edge of the mattress and provides edge-to-edge support across its width.
