A traditional hand tufted finish is applied to the mattress by passing nylon tapes through it at regular intervals, with woollen tufts attached to both sides.
Hand tufting secures the layers such as wool and silk, polycotton, polyester and ecobond stay in their correct position for a smooth and comfortable surface.
The core is made up of barrel-shaped pocket springs that move independently, contouring to your individual weight and shape for optimum support and posture.
The springs are able to move freely so the load on one is not affected by any neighbouring springs, providing piston-like support to each part of your body.
A flat rod-edge frame surrounds the perimeter of the spring system. This strengthens the border and provides edge to edge support across the mattress width.
It’s a traditional double-sided mattress that requires to be rotated and flipped over on a regular basis to enhance its longevity, support and comfort.
