Boasting a high pocket spring count and layers of natural fillings, the Prestige Luxury mattress is designed to offer a medium support.
The mattress is fully upholstered in a 100% Viscose fabric and benefits from a hand tufted finish that ensures its fillings stay in place.
Its natural fillings include cotton, wool, silk and cashmere help to draw moisture away and help to regulate the body’s temperature.
The pocket spring interior features 1000 inner coils with 2000 mini tablet springs on either side, with each one housed in its own cloth sleeve.
Each spring is free to contour your shape perfectly, resulting in a mattress that provides piston-like support to each part of the body.
An added feature is its side-stitched border – a labour intensive and intricate technique that take craftsmen many years to master.
Using high-tension twine and a long upholstery needle, side-stitching attaches the mattress border to the perimeter rows of springs.
This process strengthens the mattress edge and prevents the border from bowing out overtime. This also increases the sleeping area by 20%.
The base features a 5-way hinged mechanism that allows the head and foot sections to be raised or lowered separately or together.
For added comfort, the base features sprung slats with lumber adjusters that can increase or decrease the support in the lower back area.
