The mattress is fully upholstered in a 100% Viscose fabric and benefits from a hand tufted finish that ensures its natural fillings stay in place.
Its cotton fillings provide natural softness, exceptional breathability, and excellent moisture-wicking properties, keeping you cool and dry.
The mattress interior consists of rows of small diameter shallow pocket springs, with each coil housed in its own individual cloth sleeve.
Each spring is free to contour your shape perfectly, resulting in a mattress that provides piston-like support to each part of the body.
An added feature is its side-stitched border – a labour intensive and intricate technique that take craftsmen many years to master.
Using high-tension twine and a long upholstery needle, side-stitching attaches the mattress border to the perimeter rows of springs.
The side-stitching process offers edge-to-edge support, while adding strength to the border and preventing it from bowing out over time.
The base features a 5-way hinged mechanism that allows the head and foot sections to be raised or lowered separately or together.
For added comfort, the base features sprung slats with lumber adjusters that can increase or decrease the support in the lower back area.
