The Signature Comfort mattress features a combination of pocket springs and deep layers of natural fillings for a medium support and a comfortable night’s sleep.
Fully upholstered in a premium 100% Viscose fabric, the mattress benefits from a traditional hand tufted finish that ensures the deep layers stay firmly in place.
The layers of natural fillings such as wool, cotton, cashmere and silk help to regulate body temperatures to keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Sandwiched between these sumptuous natural layers is an interior made up of 1000 central pocket springs, with 3000 mini comfort tablet springs on both sides.
Pocket springs are small in diameter compared to traditional open coils and housed in their own cloth sleeves that are totally independent of any surrounding springs.
Reserved for premium mattresses, an added feature is side-stitching; a labour intensive and intricate technique that takes many years for craftsmen to master.
The side-stitching process involves the outer rows of springs being sewn to the mattress border by using high-tension twine and a long upholstery needle.
Side-stitching is a highly skilled process that provides edge-to-edge support across the mattress with and ensures the mattress border will not bow out.
