Manufactured to strict Crib 5 specifications, the Corby mattress features a medium firm support open coil interior, white fibre fillings and a waterproof cover.
Primarily designed for use in care homes, Crib 5 adjustable beds are still widely used in family homes, thanks to their strict fire regularity standards.
The interior of the mattress is made up of several layers of white fibre fillings and a durable spring system, made up of rows of open coil springs.
Open coil springs are set out in rows running from head to toe and formed into one unit by attaching helical wires at the top and bottom.
For an extra level of hygiene, the cover can be easily cleaned with anti-bacterial cleaning agents, reducing the risk of infections in those that are bed-bound.
The base benefits from a 5-way hinged mechanism that offers customised support, relieving aches and pains and improves circulation and posture.
In addition, the slatted frame is fitted with lumber adjusters in the lower back section, allowing you to increase or decrease the firmness in that area.
